Unlike Veteran organizations in the US, Israel has never had a non-profit organization to assist all who have served in the Israel Defense Forces.
Israel is a great nation known for standing behind her troops 100 percent.
The Israel Ministry of Defense has always been there for injured and disabled IDF Veterans. But no organization ever existed to support IDF Veterans from foreign countries.
Over 30 percent of those who have served on the ground, in the air or at sea are from foreign nations.
As "lone soldiers" they made a very high sacrifice to leave their family and friends to serve in the IDF.
Whether these Veterans stayed in Israel or went back to their native countries, there was never a support organization to assist them emotionally or financially.
How many of those who have served in the IDF are unemployed?
How many of those who have served in the IDF suffer from PTSD?
How many of those who have served in the IDF want to support the IDF and mentor new troops?
The Association for Veterans of the IDF (™) will organize themselves into a wide variety of areas where they can volunteer to assist in our financial development, assist in the welfare of troops presently serving in the IDF and those of us who are now Veterans.
We are proud of Israel.
We are proud of the IDF.
We have served and will continue to serve in each and every manner to help our fellow Veterans.
